Nottingham and Manchester based marketing agency collective, The Boda Group has launched its new AI division, that will be headed up by AI digital marketing consultant Tani Kopliku.
To initially work within the Group’s digital marketing and PR agency, Tank, the division will design, build and deliver AI marketing solutions for clients, that will work alongside its existing consultancy offerings.
Kopliku, who joins the Group as head of AI and automation, has over 20 years digital marketing experience within leading agencies, and latterly as Lands End’s European head of digital marketing. He will work alongside Boda’s digital and development teams to create bespoke AI solutions to help clients achieve their business goals. He says of his new role:
“I’ve spent the last three years immersed in AI, and I’m here to help and accelerate the great work that Boda has already begun - building our own software and automations to make us sharper, faster, and more strategic.”
“I have been at this junction once before - when digital marketing first emerged, there was a narrow window where you could lean in and help shape what came next. I am delighted to be in a senior position this time around to exploit this with a dynamic Group that I know, first hand, to have one of the best agency cultures around.”
The Boda Group and specifically Tank, has been running AI thought leadership events and workshops for marketing professionals for over a year - often focussing on the renewed importance of brand PR in the AI search landscape. Trevor Palmer, Boda Group founder and managing director believes Tani is joining at a critical time for marketing agencies:
“We have been working, learning and experimenting with AI on behalf of our clients for the past few years. Tani has been a friend of the business since our early years, and his appointment marks the Group’s first significant investment in AI that will allow us to maximise opportunities for our existing and future clients.
“For our business, AI is a definite opportunity, not a threat. Whilst there is a lot of noise about AI systems replacing marketing teams - we just aim to be the strategic-minded experts that deploy AI to allow us to stretch the opportunity further in terms of the value we can bring to clients through our campaigns.”
